York men's pennants bowlers do it again, with double wins in division one and two! Division one played Dowerin at home for a convincing win and Division two had to work hard for their win, facing the home side in Goomalling in a very close game- well done all!

Well, in huge bowling club news, two of our Smith boys have had a fantastic win at the recent Men's State Pairs event in Perth. Aaron and Nathan (recently shifted to Bassendean club from York) held their metal and won on the very last shot of the competition for a first ever State Pairs win! Well done boys!

York Roos Reserves footy do it again!! Back to back Premierships for our trusty Ressies and oh-so-close for our poor League boys. Amazing effort to get both sides in the grand final - congrats to all our hard-working club and community members who helped along the way!

AFL legend Barry Cable and Josh Catalano are popping in as they pass through on their 1000km bike ride for Alzheimer's charity, the McCusker Foundation on Thurs 9th. Barry will be giving a little talk from 6pm and there's a sausage sizzle with all proceeds to the charity as well. Hope to see everyone here!
